The Video Editor founder Steve Kosch, a former ABC and CNN anchor, discovered his mission  when a firestorm (1993 Laguna Fire) destroyed over 300 of his neighbors homes along with their scrapbooks, photos and videos.

Feeling their pain and loss from that disaster spurred Steve with his broadcasting technical background to help save and preserve other families' aging and fragile analog media by converting their films, photos and videotapes to a stable digital format.

Now nearly 30 years later that mission has expanded nationally.  The Video Editors’ hundreds of thousands of customers no longer have to worry if a natural disaster or pesky elements (mold, moisture, heat) will destroy their family legacy. Their boxes of photos, films and videos are safely digitized and easily viewed, stored and shared.

The mission continues...
